Interclub competition 2019

Gymnastics (recreational 2 – piece) requirements

Tier 1:

Floor – Forward roll to long sit, sit in straddle, teddy bear roll, join legs together, back support, rock back to seat rock back to feet, step turn, one foot stand, stretch jump, free choice.

Vault – squat on to bench, walk along, stretch jump dismount

Tier 2:

Floor – Step forward into forward roll to feet, three travelling steps, step forward into arabesque, half turn jump, backward roll to knees, rock back to shoulder stand rock to feet, pivot into cartwheel , free choice skill.

Vault – squat on to vault length ways, walk along, stretch jump dismount

Tier 3:

Floor – Handstand forward roll, bridge/splits/half lever, 2 linked cartwheels, half or full turn jump, free choice skill, round off backward roll to straddle

Vault – through vault

Gymnastics (competitors – 4 piece) requirements

Tier 1:

Floor – Forward roll, star jump, half turn jump, backward roll to knees, bring one leg forward to stand, chassee into cat leap, half spin, arabesque, 1/4 turn into cartwheel

Beam – cross sit mount, straddle lever hold, squat feet on to stand, stretch jump, releve and pivot turn on two feet, Caterpillar, one foot stand, stretch jump dismount

Bars – (low bar) jump to front support, 2 x cast, circle down (high bar) coach to lift to straight hang, tuck hold (2 secs) L hang (2 secs) 3 fish swings and drop to stand.

Vault – max tariff 0.8

Tier 2:

Floor – Forward roll to straddle stand, join feet, tuck jump immediate star jump, Jump 1/2 turn, Backward roll to stand, Y Balance (may use hand), Forward roll to lie flat, Bridge, Shoulder stand to stand, 1 handed cartwheel

Beam – Beam – cross sit mount, straddle lever hold, squat feet on to stand, stretch jump, releve and pivot turn on two feet, Caterpillar, arabesque, run from half way into stretch jump dismount

Bars – (low bar) Circle up, 2 x casts, undershoot dismount, (move to high bar) coach to lift to straight hang in reverse grip, drop one arm and turn to regular grip, tuck hold (2 secs) L hang (2 secs) 3 fish swings to stand

Vault – max tariff 2.0

Tier 3:

Floor – handstand forward roll, wolf jump or pike jump, bridge kickover, full turn jump, cartwheel, 1 handed cartwheel, chasse cat leap scissor kick

Beam – cross sit mount, straddle lever hold, squat feet on to stand, half spin, cat leap in to immediate tuck jump, kick to handstand, cartwheel dismount

Bars – (low bar) circle up, cast, cast into back hip circle, undershoot dismount (pike or straddle) (move to high bar) coach to lift to straight hang, tuck hold (2 secs) L hold (2 secs) 3 fish swings to stand

Vault – no max tarrif

Boys conditioning (instead of beam)

Stand with feet together, holding pole in both hands, Raise pole above head with straight arms & shoulder width apart, lean forward to standing dish, back to straight stand, lean back to arch shape, return to straight stand, place pole on floor at side, Walk towards bench lower to front support hands on bench, Remaining in front support lift leg straight & behind. Return to front support, Repeat right leg, 1 x press up & return to front support Turn through side support to back support 1 x back arm dip Turn through side support to front support Walk feet forwards towards bench & squat onto bench Stand & turn 4 walks forwards on toes Single leg hold for 3 secs Stretch jump Step ΒΌ turn Star jump dismount from bench
