Refurbishment 2021

We have finally been able to release the funding we secured to initiate our significant refurbishment on 4th January 2021. It involves removing redundant swimming pool plant equipment (in the room at the end of the trampoline hall) to form a spectator area and cafe. The old swimming pool changing rooms and coach kitchen area will stripped out with the majority of the walls removed and replaced with new entrance, reception, changing village and classroom/multi purpose room.

15th Jan 2021 – Initial strip out of changing rooms

22nd Jan 2021 – Demolition & propping in changing rooms

28th Jan 2021 – Steels arriving for changing rooms

2021-02-09 – Scaffold for openings between spectator space and activity space. The room with strip lights in will be where our spectator space is.
2021-03-12 – Top openings in spectator area completed. Walls up & first fix electrics going in to old changing room space.
2021-03-29 – Top and bottom openings formed for spectator area. First fix in classrooms, changing area and office complete.

2021-04-09 – Plaster boarding in spectator area and on outside wall complete. Foundations dug for exterior ramp. Plumbing in toilets in progress. Opening through for the toilets directly accessible from trampoline hall.
